The sights of China have intrigued me for many years. I first saw China's splendor in slides presented by a Chinese tour company while I was working as a travel consultant. During that career, I organized detailed itineraries for many travelers—all the while wishing I could be the eyes to see the beauty for myself. When my time finally arrived, China did not disappoint. The rich textures, the vibrant colors, the cultural heritage, the ancient history and the remarkable faces all meld into an opulent photographic tapestry.
